Liam was running it but he doesn't seem to have time any more. If someone else wants to run it, they only have to volunteer.

I genuinley have to apologise as I let other commitments get in the way plus we missed a month and ended up backtracking. I did post the results of one but didn't get round to PM-ing Adam so it wasn't a sticky and then got lost

Sligoman if you want to take over i'm happy for ya and I hope ya do a better job than me! Alternativly if you wanted to run it together could work out?
Some were complaining before about the fact that one person decided out fo the nominations. Mabye we can sort out setting up a poll 1 week from the end of each month?
As I said if ya fancy sorting something like this out together then PM me and we can put something together and show Adam.
Alternativly if you fancy running it yourself good luck

If the Post of the Month thing is restored. Here's a suggestion.
At the end of the season or maybe even in early January.
There is a Foot.ie night out organised and the Post of the month winners for the previous year get presented with an award. Tickets could be issued and the money used to cover the hire of venue and the cost of whatever trophy/trophies are deemed appropriate can be bought with the change.
Not necessarily that expensive an exercise;it could range from a framed certificate to something more expensive depending on the available budget.

P.S. All the monthly Post winners should be stuck on a Posts of the year thread so those of us who missed them can read and enjoy afterwards.
