Incredible stuff. Fair play to them. You wouldn’t bet against them taking a scalp or two in the groups.

They've Sheriff Tiraspol next in the Europa League playoff - they could beat them yet and make the stronger group stages.
Just checked loitv and no sign of the game there. Has there been any mention of a stream being available?
How many Derry fans are expected to travel down to Tallaght and what attendance is expected, maybe 3/4000?
Heard it’s likely to be just west stand. So 2000-2500.
Daft challenge there from Tobol and Derry 1-0 up from the spot. Game on!
Austria Wien v Legia also worth a shout. Wien 2-1 up from the first leg in Poland, but Legia went 3-0 up in Austria, so 4-2 on aggregate. Wien made it 4-4 on the 83rd minute - heading for extra time. Legia scored on 87, Wien had a player sent off on 89, and then equalised in the seventh minute of injury time for 5-5. But there was still time for Legia to win it in the 10th minute of injury time, and they go through 6-5 on aggregate.
Ideal start from Derry, but I still think they have a job on here. Tobol look handy enough, and probably capable of scoring. As a Pats fan I’m hoping for extra time obviously !
Out for a spell, got neglected, lay on the bench unselected.
Some great stuff from Derry in general. Defending well and dangerous going forward. Still room for the LoI gaff though! Show this type of form from now on and they could have the season in the end expected from the start.
I see Club Brugge up to double figures against KA with 20 minutes still to go. Probably for the best Dundalk didn't get through if we're honest...
Kancheslskis says "He's very very happy to be back in Great Britain" and is pleased with the friendly British welcome in Dublin.
I assume he's trolling RTÉ for fawning about how many Man Utd and Everton fans there are here...
Adam O ‘Reilly having a super game. This could go either way.

Tough break at the end for Derry. Think they'd have been the first Irish team to win three rounds in Europe? Definitely an element that the old weakness of poor finishing cost them. But a great effort - even if Basel must have been kicking themselves watching - to end what's been a really poor campaign overall
Jesus penos are tough going even when you support neither team. Derry will presumably feel they should have finished the job in normal time, they probably should have.
Tough on Derry but didn’t take chances. I don’t think Andrei Kanchelskis was ****ing off Irish support due to his rangers background, more his English isn’t great. I just thought it was the usual Irish ****e that we HAVE to talk to ex Man U player because we love English football.
