Why are people getting carried away by Shels still

I can see your point but what has been said since makes a lot of sense in that your next game is the most important. But i think this Monday night is a huge one for Derry also. The last thing they want is City to win. Mondays result will hugely influence the morale of each team playing the following Friday. And Shels have become our big rivals. If we were 14 points behind them a win on the night would be special anyway. They are the Champions.

Up early in the morning (before your neighbours get up if you possess some form of reputation) listen to the dark ones, the ravens. Think Hitchcock. Allow yourself to bond with them and slowly but surely mimic their call. If by chance you manage to befriend their leader ask him to rally the troops for 7.30 Monday night. I'm worried by our lack of consistency at home, and the fact that we put on some very flat performances when there is big crowd and a lot of expectation.

I cant believe some of the things Rico has said in interviews. He is coming out with this pressure crap and saying that your strong enough to handle it. Now its all very well saying your ok but pressure comes from within.

He should not be saying there is pressure as it only adds to it.

You are so far ahead that a loss wouldnt make too big a difference really. I think you will hang on even with a defeat in the next two games but Rico is just setting the foundations for you to collapse if you go on to lose them. Saying your season hinges on this week is a little silly. No two games will win or lose you the league.

He may be trying to motivate you but its that sort of talk that could backfire and result in your team doubting yourselves come next week.

Pressure comes from within and rico is causing some of this.

What he says privately in the dressing room and publicly in the papers could be two very different things.
