Charleville to draw with Park Rgs
    Hill Celtic to beat Granville
Play off in Jackman between Hill Celtic and Charleville to see who goes down.

So the fact that the long weekend is next weekend has passed you guys out? These are important games and should be played at the same time so it is fair to have them on a weekend when there is less chance of potponments or teams wishing to have games off.
By the way last season was a late finish and considering the level of games off this season I recon that having all divisions completed bar 1 by the end of May was good going and the fixtures on the LDMC website will detemine the season for the Premier, So give a break from the slagging for the sake of slagging.

old keeper i agree with having the important matches on at the same time but what is the point of the above matches
just to see who comes 2nd/3rd/4th??

well if you ask the mentors of the clubs who can finish 2nd 3rd or 4th they will probably disagree, and more importantly there are players who actually enjoy playing soccer and with games at the end of the season all squad members can have a run, so lets not forget the reasons for playing are varied. If teams do not want to play games that they feel are pointless they can contact the Committee or Fixtures secretary and they will most likely be accommodated. Lastly with the pressure off teams the last few games can have a great atmosphere and if the club is a strong one (as our premier clubs should be)there should be no reason not to be able to field teams.

I would tend to agree but it seems they are on a roll at the moment and they might want to capitalise on that scoring 5 goals in the lawson semi without reply, But as I said if they feel they need a break they can contact the fixtures sec or the general committee.

Great result for Park after a tough year where they lost a lot of players. Club didnt deserve to go down anyway..Fair play to the management.
