Indeed well done to Pike, although the last few weeks of the league have been a bit of a farce!
The situation with Carew on Sunday morning with Regional a perfect example, a team still in with a shout of the league (outside shout) turning up with 8 players and then blaming the Boro groundsman for not having their pitch lined and the goals up and giving that as the reason the game cannot go ahead!
Regional offered to play out in Dooradoyle but suprisingly Carew turned this request down!
If this is the petty rubbish that exists in the Premier not to mention the "phone calls" different managers have made in the last few weeks then whats the point? Will Regional get a walkover? I doubt it and nobody will be surprised!
    Hope Charleville get relegated too!

Carew Never Told The Boro That They Had A Match On Sunday.. The Last Thing That The Boro Was Told By Carew Was On Last Tuesday Night, They Told The Boro That The Match On Thursday V View Was Off. The Boro Groundsman Only Lives At The Corner. He Has Been Phoned On Sunday Mornings Before For Stupid Things..(where Are The Corner Flags?, In Dressing Room).... Nobody From Carew Phoned Or Called To The Groundsman,i Spoke To Boro Lads Pitch Was Lined ( Very Worn) Could Have Been Redone In About Ten Mins... The Sooner They Get Their Own Grounds The Better.

they told Regional and Dave Weldrick that the groundsman's phone was ringing out!! It is not the responsibility of Janesboro to have the pitch ready for games, it was a Carew Park home fixture so the pitch having the pitch ready for games is their responsibilty even if it mean walking to the house at the corner!!

reddan brought nothing to the table for carew or the oscar traynor this year.

why was he picked for the oscar traynor job in the first place - maybe old keeper could answer that one?

oconnor would be a very good manager imo he knows the game and knows how it should be played - it is a different story getting the carew lads to do it but if he does I would have to fancy carew for the league. Unless he goes to pike next year and this is just another rumour.

If JOC goes to pike, they will have to change they way that they play. that might be a positive thing. boro and carew both played wide men(lawlor, conway, whelan, bob) who could provide top quality crosses for joc. having watched pike 3 times this year they dont realy play wide men. they seem to prefer strenght at the back, the position game and then to strike from set pieces. it seems to be working for them. bet he would get a pile of goals with any team if they play to his many strenghts

as i have already stated, carew with the squad they had at their disposal should definitely have won something this year.
how many trophies have they thrown away over the years? fai, muns jun, premier leagues etc !
don't know how good martin reddan is but i would say that there is not a manager in western europe that could manage that motley crew.
maybe its time for one of there so called stalwarts to take over and give it a go as a lot of them are either at the end or coming to the end of their fruitless careers !

He may not go up there but one thing is for sure, IF he did he would score a lot more goals than all the strikers Pike have done so far this season put together.

JOC is a class act, ask any defender in town "including Colm Enright" who they most hate playing against and the majority of them would say JOC.

they should have paid him and some because pike have nothing up front, not to fuel the rumour mill any more but I heard he was going to Aisling Annacoty.

lawlor and conway dont play anymore? bob can barely cross his legs these days. joc drops short and either plays in wide behind the defence or short to a midfielder. I do agree with you that if he was fed with quality ball he would score alot more.

oconnor, cusack and sheehan would be a tasty front line for any club

good to see BL back playing - very good player when he wants to play

so no one knows the outcome of the meeting last night. I suppose carew got away with it, what a ridiculous situation.

JOC wouldn't do any better than the forwards pike already have, he can barely run, so I don't think the big pike field would exactly suit him. Ask jason when was the last time he scored up there for example. He's been a very good player but he's well past his best. Pike need someone else a Davy Wall maybe.
