FAIRVIEW 0 CAREW PARK 2 ( mike carey, ger ned )

excellent win this for carew park who controled the game from start to finish and if im been honest it should of been alot more than two. carew played some excellent football considering the conditions were very poor. pikes lead is down to 8 points but carew have a game in hand maybe the league is not over yet carew are playing good football and not conceding goals. i must say fairviews pitch was in excellent condition very impressive considering the rain that fell.

as far as i know all other premier games were off

League will be a lot clearer by Sunday evening, dont think Pike will pick up maximum points against Regional and Balla, but if they do, then they will surely have the league wrapped up.

totally agree with you there if pike pick up max points from those two games you would wonder whats left to stop them pike has played all the top teams but for boro. carew park are playing some excellent football at the moment if they could get within 3 or 2 points pike might start to think about the last two seasons were they let a 14 point lead slip and remember they were 14 ahead this season aswell if carew win there game in hand its only 5 points. dont think balla will have any interest in turning up sunday morning they will prob go out sat.. night knowing there is noting to play for. id say the balla lads just want the season to end at this stage cant see pike losing to them. regional might cause them a problem. pikes league to lose

don't agree with you there, I think balla will pull out all the stops to take points off pike on sunday. I think the same for regional tomorrow night. Most teams seem to raise their game against pike even when theres nothing to play for. Pike will have learned from last year though and have a far better squad this year which will stand to them during the mid week games.

    BORO 1 UL/AA 0
PIKE AND CAREW WON AS WELL
From what i heard Pike match must have been very tasty....
Any red card is a one match ban automatically.....
Excellent effort from boro lads in this one..... reduced to 10 men after about 25mins,(straight red) still created better chances... ul/aa very diappointing, giving ball to keeper who welly's it the length of the field is a strange tactic for a team that went so far in Fai....just a line to ul/aa....when a match is over, the simple act of shaking hands with the opposition can show what kind of people represent your club... i was told of one player who refused to shake any players hand after the match...grow up bud!!!!

was at the Pike game, the ref was a disgrace for both teams 5 sent off, 3 from Pike and 2 from Regional and there wasn't a bad tackle in the whole game!! a joke! how he had the neck to collect his "fee" after is beyond me
The game itself was poor, Pike play no football but they have perfected the 1-0, score and then all behind the ball and lump it up the field and chase after it, whatever works for you i suppose
Regional had alot possession but only creating half chances but they have a good young football playing team, their pitch does them no favours though!
Maybe Pike and Regional should swap pitches!!

I was also at the Pike game and in all fairness, I think Regional had one or two shots (both off target) in the the whole game.

Regional had a lot of possession but only when it was 10 v 8 in their favour.

Pike didnt play that well but were never under threat, and it was comfortable enough for Pike.

I was at the Boro game last night. I cannot agree with you . I thought Boro were terrible. UL keeper made one save before the goal.
They are way off the pace of Pike or Carew.
UL were no better on the night. They were on top in the middle but never looked like scoring.
