it'll be interesting to see how pike and carew react sunday to both their disappointments last week. fancy a draw in this maybe 1-1

for all carew's great cup runs they still have won zilch in the last few seasons.
if they are serious about winning a league then nothing less then 3 points will suffice on sunday.
word has it that they may field the same eleven as last week for the first time this season !

Even if Carew beat Pike on Sunday they are still 11 pts behind with 2 games in hand, which would bring them to within 5 pts of Pike,

I cant see Pike dropping that many points between now and the end of the season.

The league is between Pike and the Boro, and Jason O'Conner (if playing) along with Bubbles and Lou Quigley could do their old club (The Boro) a big favour this weekend by beating Pike.

dunno if they were well beaten.....story of missed opportunities by the Boro that cost them the game....on another day theyd have scored 6 in the second half alone....another result thatll haunt them in the run in. Well done to Carew...thats 2 losses in a row for Pike....on the slippery slope?

Top 3 all lost. Carew have alot to do to catch pike still. They were outplayed for long stretches of the game and weren't very impressive it has to be said against a pike team not playing well. Pike missed lots of chances yesterday but I think they will still win the league, but will need to get over the FAI loss quickly.

will you please take off your pike glasses for once carew park well deserved to beat pike see not all but some of ye pike people ye are so full of **** its sickening no 1 carew park had not a forward on the pitch o connor injuried aswell as ger ned. and bubbles could only play 10mins because of a hip problem so to out play pike for most of the game it was a good performance of coarse carew are going to come under the cosh at some stage pike are a good team. but dont try and post here that carew robbed three points from pike its on todays leader as it said on that pike rarely troubled carew i suppose there wrong aswell. pike lads seem to forget the open goal albert sla missed when keeper dropped the ball. or when wheelan went clean throu on goal twice and missed or the free header albert sla missed from six yards. of coarse gordon made a couple of great saves its his job. and a very poor ref that gave carew noting and did everything he could to get pike back in the game even played 6 mins injury time what a joke it was actually a clean game for once not a bad foul in the game
