Davy Wall's transfer finally went through early on Saturday morning back to his home club Newtown F.C. this was over a week with the view refusing to release him,for a finish i have been informed that Munster were involved.surely this is no way to treat people?? I can understand the view not wanting to lose him but all the red tape they put up i would be suprised to see any more from Shannon rushing in to join the view........

don't think they were at full strength when they played hill celtic?Originally Posted by francesco_1
that did not last long as predicted - smart move MV - whatever slim chance the club had of staying up has increased greatly with that guy gone.Originally Posted by Mercurial Vapor

someone told me that Tom Foley from ULAA was in the running but he spelt his name wrong on the application form - sorry can't reveal my source so don't ask.Originally Posted by the only 1

however they have a talented squad that has been unlucky with injuries and results this season. it seems as if they have turned the corner though.

The only reason they did not sign it is that he refused to go to the committee meeting which i think is required in most clubs.Originally Posted by BallBreaker

Whats Davy's status regarding Munster Junior and Fai? Is he cup tied for both?
With Newtown still in both it would be a shame if he was.
Most clubs in town the player has to attend a committee meeting. If that was the reason why the transfer was held up then thats fair enough.Originally Posted by old boy

does anyone know anything about coonagh this season heard they were handy
You heard wrong
munster council were contacted on this matter and they informed fairview to let player go.......now,,,1 week and 3 days went by with fairview refusing to sign transfer form and then when they are told by munster they sign straight away....so there are questions to be asked about fairview on this one....
Have Newtown made there feelings on this matter known to the Munster Council.
I'll update this next year.
