Another one for Daryl, but Ipswich trail 3-1 at half time at Chris Hughton's Brighton.

    Lost 3-2.
It's quite tight at the top of the championship With Derby's game in had it could be 4 teams separated by a point.

Two more for Murphy today, taking him to 21 league goals for the season. On course to break the 30-mark by season's end.

I really must watch more of him at Ipswich. His strike rate this year would normally be really exciting from an international perspective, even if it is at Championship level. Granted his opportunities for Ireland have been quite limited but he has looked somewhat limited in those opportunities.

What are people's opinions on him? Is he an option for the Poland game? I can envisage MON going with McGoldrick off Keane and Long is also an option but he didn't even appear against Scotland.

Proving the doubters wrong and referring to his striking idol as 'Fat Ronaldo'.

Back on the scoresheet today against fellow play-off contenders Brentford after missing a penalty midweek. Jonathan Douglas equalised for the visitors.

Just saw the highlights - he could have had 4 or 5, including horrible miss from an open goal eight yards out.

23rd goal of the season from Daryl this morning against Middlesbrough; another goal against promotion contenders.

Excellent ball control, spatial awareness and pass by Murphy to assist Sears' goal against Bournemouth.

Murphy continuing to be a pivotal player for Ipswich, not just in terms of goals but assists too.

Ipswich defending very nervously here. Can't see them keeping a clean sheet against this Bournemouth team.

    Murphy playing very well.

Murphy is playing well. He really looks the part as the "main man". The ball for the assist took a slight deflection, it wasn't as good a pass as I first thought. Arter looks busy and confident, Tabb not getting much joy. McGoldrick back on the bench.

Not had many chances but never shown much potential when in the green. Arguably he possess the physical attributes to play the role ahead of Houlihan

Tabb has outperformed Arter so far IMO.

He has shown the battler qualities that won him rave reviews when he played for Reading in the Premier League.

Arter profligate when presented with a good chance.

Bournemouth have slowly got to grips with Murphy as the game progressed.

Ipswich look vulnerable whenever Bournemouth launch an attack - and Bournemouth should arguably be in front. Ipswich have completely ceded possession and you don't do that to a Bournemouth team that are this good in possession.

Disappointing tactics from Mick Mc. Hopefully Ipswich can do the unlikely and hold on to the points.

    Fantastic play by Arter there.

    And then.

Sears elected to go alone when Murphy was in acres of space after making an intelligent run.

Can Murphy make it 24 for the season?

Ya and I don't see any of or players getting out of the championship other than a sunny season where they play for a promoted team and get relegated again. It's very worrying.

I have hopes for Arter, not really seen enough of him though.
A midfielder who can score a few goals is a useful asset at any level.

On his stats he is rated very strong for his defensive contribution, his weakness is finishing apparently which is somewhat at odds with
with his 8 goals this season.

A midfielder who is strong in defence and scores goals sound like an attractive proposition to me.

I didn't get to see the game today unfortunately TOWK's posts suggest he didn't play too badly.

I thought Waford v Derby was a higher standard, Watford in particular.

Hey, was there talk above of MON being interested in Callum Wilson? Skilful player.
