For people on the block booking waiting list

Lads has anyone out there who is on the block booking waiting list received an offer from the FAI to buy tickets for the Italy match? I know in the past they have been offering the tickets for qualifiers and friendlies that were not sold out to people on the list, there were definitely people on this forum who got the offer anyway. The reason I ask is that I have never received any such offer from the FAI even though I am on the list and the nice lady in the ticket office insisted I had been sent these offers and it was up to me to ensure my postal details were correct. It's really p!ssed me off cos some of the lads who joined the BB list at the same time as me and who took up the offer are now on the BB list, strange how they managed to get the offer for the €7,000 tickets to me though . Anyway if there is anyone out there who can let me know if they got the offer so I can ring them and kick up a stink I'd appreciate it.

Don Vito, weren't these offered as part of a 2 match package (China was the other one)? I think the app forms for this were sent out well before Easter.

Aye you're right on this one Stuttgart, forgot all about that being a two match package. They went out before I had words with the FAI so hopefully I'll be getting offers in the future.

It's probably sold out alright, I forgot about it being a two match package with the Chinese game too. If you've never gotten any offers for tickets get on to them cos I'm almost certain that there were fellas on this forum that got tickets for most of the friendlies and some of the qualifiers because they were on the BB waiting list, as I said above on of the guys only joined it at the same time as me and now he's on it proper, I'll sift through some of the od posts to see who it was. I think the only way to make progress with them is to check up on it every so often if not you could fall off it altogether (again there is someone on this forum who this happened to). I'm still 700+ on the list

The €7,000 tickets the offered me were ten year corporate tickets, I honestly considered getting a loan for it but imagine being stuck beside all the corporate heads for EVERY game for the next ten years. Plus it works out at €700 per year and if we play 5 home games a year thats €140 per game, it'd definitely work out cheaper just to buy a ticket off a tout for ever game. Oh also I'm feckin broke already!

I would still contact the FAI and request tickets for the Italy game as this will give you some credit on the waiting list

Last time I got an update I was around the 1300 mark, so your a good 600 ahead of me DV.
Thats a bit steep for tickets alright, Ive heard a rumour that if and when the games are played in croker the block booking availability will increase for the period games are played there so we could get on it in a year or two with a bit of luck.
Imagine no more worries about tickets for matches, twud be heaven.
