Athlone Town manager John Gill admits he was delighted by the improvement in his side’s performance during the weekend’s draw away to high-flying Cobh Ramblers.
The midlanders picked up the first point of Gill’s term in charge at St Colman’s Park – and it could have been even better as they led twice in the second half before being pegged back.
