Thought Bolger, Keating, Healy and Coleman were brilliant for you. Cannot believe we drew with a team that plays Ally Gilchrist though.

    Hope Aaron is ok

Great win for us with 10 men for so long. Thankfully Pats were awful.

Pico lopes is not allowed get a red card again, we look clueless at the back without him. 7 points behind derry but it's a long season and once we recover our composure at the back I think we'll be fine. Mannus had a real night to forget tonight, maybe it's time for the polish giant to have a go in goal- cracking finish by crowley for their 2nd goal.
Some unusual results so far in the early stages of the season, but I think it's safe to assume the team will eventually rise towards the top and the sediment will gradually settle near the bottom.

From shooting ourselves in the feet with both barrels we have now progressed .....just to be sure mind to havin a hack at them with a blunt saw. Jeez we are so bad at the back. That being said that was some entertainment tonight. Cork were brilliant they passed the ball really well and pressed like a very good thing that presses, oh yea a clothes presser or a steamroller maybe. We are now officially a bag on nerves playing out from the back and liable to give anyone even passing by a pressie. The amount of chances passed up was, not really sure how to describe it yet but as a glass half full kinda chap i will say its a sign of better things to come. Some Spirit to come back from 4 2 down and really should have won it. Talk about camping in a teams half for a period of time, we camped in their net about 3 feet over the goal line. How many corners did we have in the 2nd half gotta be a league record.

Good win that for Dundalk, def deserved it based on second half display, was joking walking into the Pats game on Fri, we needed 'Seven' points this weekend, almost got it ! Two wins on the trot just what the doctor ordered.

O'Donnell made 5 changes - seemed a lot but then heard after there was some sort of virus in the camp, one player in hospital over weekend, so that probably explained the first half sloppy display.

Derry away on Friday, that's going to be very tough, anyway a good night's work.

Serious handbags at the end from the two benches, seemed Joey O'Brien started it, but that's not confirmed, looked like a classic GAA aftermatch and continued down the tunnel, even if the Dundalk players / mgt use the YDC changing rooms - apart from the walk out, so not sure why it carried on, maybe Shels players trying to calm it, only lasted a few mins, but it looked a little ugly for a short time. It fizzled out quickly enough.

Can't have been as bad as what we saw on Friday, looked like they couldn't be bothered even competing at times, bad run for them, but most clubs go through a bad spell, it happens.

Duff started it by having a go at our third choice keeper for some reason. Once everyone piled in he ran off to the middle of the pitch. Seems he picked up a few tips from Mourinho on how to start a row and then run off.

We weren't as bad as Friday but that's an extremely low bar.

Solid stuff from Bohs tonight. Akintunde in the 10 looks like a serious player, Coote is like a new signing especially compared to last season too. Worrying about how out of form Talbot was pretty much all game, you can see how little confidence the defenders have in his as well and that can't end well. Wouldn't be surprised if Dennison got a chance in the next few weeks unfortunately.

Another hopeless performance from pats tonight to cap off a terrible weekend. Lonergan missed a basically open goal about 5 mins before half time by going with his right foot instead of his left for some reason but aside from the build up play to that move there was little to no quality from pats until Forrester produced a bit of magic finding the top corner with a belter in the 62nd which was followed by 5 minutes of good play and nearly another goal for Forrester from range before Sligo were awarded a soft free kick which pats fell asleep for and Hartmann finished off. An absolutely clueless performance against 10 men for 70 minutes

Jaysis that second goal for Sligo is as bad a goal to concede as you’ll see, you’d be angry at an u12 team conceding that…

I think we may see more of this. Mark Byrne the 3rd keeper was the lad who fought with a fan up north with Warrenpoint a few years ago. He's a lunatic

Pathetic crap at the end from duff and shows what a really poor manager he is.
Shels will feel they should have had a draw at least out of this game and I can feel their paln somewhat for not getting it but DUNDALK came flying out of the blocks 2nd half and deserved all 3 points for having just that wee bit more skill, guile and experience than Shelbourne.
Derry away next will be good gauge as to were we are at rn.

Good win last night for Bohs but I think a change of keeper is needed to really push on. Talbot's distribution has always been sub par but it's been awful this season. Add to that he has clearly lost a lot of confidence and it makes all the signings we have made in defence redundant. On the positive side McManus was one of the best players on the pitch last night unfortunately I don't think it'll be too long before he's off to the UK or some other larger league. Akintunde put in a great shift and it's great to see Ali Coote get his form back. He has been excellent in every game this season. Long may it continue.

I enjoyed the Sligo v Pat's match and watching Rovers v Cork during half time and at the end.
Derry v Dundalk coming up on Friday is bad LOITV scheduling. The rest of us will be supporting our own clubs, except for Sligo and Cork.

The refs in the league are laughable at this stage. I'm pretty sure they must be actively telling linesmen to wait for them to make a decision before they put their flag up. The offside goal looked like an awful call and Slogett should have been booked (would have been a second yellow) for a woeful dive just outside the area but went on to be man of the match.

We'd looked solid enough defensivly over the first three and half games but second half last night we gave away two poor goals and Kearns bailed us out with a couple of good saves. Was surprised at Dundalk's showing after them hammering Pats. Andy Boyle didn t look great last night and the lad beside him looked like an accident waiting to happen all night.

From watching replay of the Shels disallowed goal it could have been Farrell who was called offside not Robinson, camera did not have a clear angle of that area. Shane seemed to be as bemused as Robinson it would have been odd for him to have ran into an offside position in that area 7 or 8 seconds before he was on camera in our own half and it didn't look like his movement that he had dropped back in from an offside position to head the ball

Talbot can’t clear a ball with his hands or feet lately. Every time the ball comes to him you think something bad is going to happen. I hope he will get his form back soon but he is a cause for concern defensively at the moment. Also Flores at LB does not work.

Saw a still of the late offside goal by Shels from last night, I thought it at the time and will not offer much comfort to Shels fans, but it looked onside to me.

Still think we deserved the win based on the second half, but this would be a killer if its proven to be a bad call, still most clubs will get them for and against during the season, they say it evens itself out.
