Consolation goal for him today. Sounds like a nice finish from a tough angle.
Is that only his second for them?

Yes, it was a good finish. But we need to see more from him, his scoring record isn't great at all (3 goals in 74 games).
He's probably in the picture, but only because Connolly/Idah/Obafemi/Robinson/Cannon/Armstrong are doing as much as possible to be out of the picture these days.
I've read many, many football articles down the years, but never came across a description of a player as a "mercurial sparkplug" before. Emakhu started today, away to Blackburn, but was one of three players hooked at half-time.
Femi Azeez’s absence opens the door for Millwall’s mercurial sparkplug Aidomo Emakhu to step up – Southwark News
Has moved to Oxford United on a 'long-term deal'.

Millwall didn't want to sell Emakhu, but couldn't meet his demands for a new contract, so he wanted to go.

Nice business from them
If I question Liam Scales ability to play intl football, refer me to this signature & his peformance at home at lb vs Port on Nov 13 2025.

Moving from fifth in the table to 23rd. Millwall may be justified in not meeting his demands (which I presume were for a big increase). He's only young of course, but like Armstrong, I think he's flattered to deceive overall. 3 goals in 83 games is a pretty poor return for any attacking player.
Oxford will probably go down, but that might not be the worst thing to happen for him if he's getting more regular football in League 1.
