It's called the Long Avenue colloquial known as the Avenue Road. That's not to be confused with "da avenya" which is St. Nicholas Ave which is also an independent republic in Da town

Off season topic should be what's the worst street name in the town of the club you support, in a #greatestleagueintheworld kind of way. I hope Dundalk are still around for that. It's nearly 10 years since they won their 1st title for nearly 20 years at that time. It's been some decade though, in fairness, when ye get to look back on it in time to come. The highest of highs and now unfortunately the opposite. Should there be vital signs present over the winter, I hope that trips to Tralee, Cobh, and Ballyboffey away in the lashing rain will cure ye of any notions of staying too long in the 1st Division.

Its already off season for Dundalk. Dead rubber will help Rovers. I do hope that there will be a good Dundalk crowd in United Park last day though. Take our medicine and face the slagging.

Actually it’s an opportunity for the team to rise to the occasion of the last Premier Division game in Oriel for some time to come and give the supporters a performance to remember. Denying Rovers the five in a row into the bargain.

Good one! In Dublin, Misery Hill, beside the Bord Gais theatre. Should be the place of pilgrimage for all fans whose club underperformed.

And the place where the FAI should base their fines office: Pyro Villas in D8.
Hello, hello? What's going on? What's all this shouting, we'll have no trouble here!

Im not sure Id that pleased with a performanc to remember, a winning kind, or we'd be wondering where that was all season. Could probably sell the stand multiple times over to catch any action there!

To get tto Oriel from the town side you have to ascend Gallows Hill.

Aren't Shamrock named after a street.
Manager: Fergal, have you your boots with ya?
Fergal: Ya, I have them here.
Manager: Ah good stuff, well give them to this man so, he forgot his!

I see Kilduff has handed in his notice with Athlone women's team .
Would he be a good choice for the dundalk job in division 1?

A natural fit for sure, he would be crazy to do it though.

Will Dundalk even have a license to field a team next year?

Not really seeing the connection there.

Speaking as a Bohs fan this is clearly the correct priority

That was known as "The Gut" but not because of SF although their party offices were there in the 90s if I remember correctly.

Its also not far away from Lucy Soraghans corner if you want to go back to the 1900's

Williamsons Place? What was the Battle of the Boardroom you've metioned elsewhere?

Cobh the latest club to depart from a members owned model. Just Bohs, Harps and Sligo left. The only real chance of competing with the way things are going, exciting times ahead.
