Hopefully some fitting tribute will be paid to him by the club before the first game and in the matchday programme - fair to say that Friday would still have remained a pipe-dream without his Trojan work in underage soccer, and also his tireless promotion of the game on Radio Kerry over the decades.
It will be a fitting tribute for the club to make prior to kick off.
