    Car Safety at Roxboro

    Hi there:

Just wanted to let all Supporters' Club members and all other Supporters both home and away the one of our SC members' cars was broken into last Friday night during the Kilkenny City game. He had parked it around by Supermacs facing the main road. When he returned after the match it was extensively damaged and items were stolen from it.

Gael 353 tells me the safe area for Parking up there in at the back of Tescos on the Roxboro Garda Station side of the Shopping centre. There are CCTV cameras there and that area is patrolled by Security.

    All the best

There was a crowd of scumbags drinking outside the Steering Wheel bar as I passed by when walking down to the game. Most were younfellas and some looked underage. They probably did the damage. They probably saw people parking and then getting out with Limerick FC tops or jackets on, so they knew they'd be at the match for a while. That's why the cars were broken in to. I always park around the side or the back. No scumbags hang around there, there are security cameras, plus the scumbags can't see you getting out of the car and see that you're obviously going to the match.
