I think the move to Friday nights was the key, the City thing not being at home doesn't make much difference tbh as some of the home games clashed and the crowds were still very good. Also the club did a lot of promotional work over the past few years.
Results are also a big factor, I get the thing about the kids, it's as annoying as f*** but they are the supporters of tomorrow and all that.
''and I for one welcome our new insect overlords''
decent crowd for us against drogs considering there wasnt many of their fans that travelled down. pity we are terrible because we'd easily be adding 1/1.5k to that attendance if we were going well
At the risk of sending our friend ToberonaTornado over the edge this week, official attendance of 3,537 last night vs UCD. Very few in the away end (which included some kids in Pats jerseys).
1,427 at the Andy Pilley memorial derby this evening at the RSC,decent crowd tbf.....
Irish by birth ,Harps by the grace of god.
1074 at the Bowl
7/800 of them were for Shels I'd estimate!
Looking on LOITV my guess at the following,
600+ Shams at Drogheda, 100+ City fans at Richmond, 450 limit of Dundalk fans at Dalymount, and looked like 100+ Sligo fans in Derry!
Great away support, well done to all those who travelled and helped towards the atmosphere!
1,420 at the RSC v Longford.
1014 at Finn Park
Irish by birth ,Harps by the grace of god.
Yeah it’s been the one positive this season, the crowds have come back even if the football has been poor….

Fair play to harps that’s very impressive, bohs were struggling to sell out the Jodi when Fenlon was winning titles, and when the arse fell out we were looking at a hardcore 1200 .
Really hope this new build boosts harps again, a regular 2k plus aways would be a great start.
Announced at the game last night as 4326 I think that’d be with dundalks very ****ing noisy 450, hope they weren’t all in the hut!
Missing official figures from Shels v Derry 30th June, Longford v Wexford 1st July.

632 in MH Park on Friday. With 500 seating and the limitations of the rest of the ground, 600-700 is probably a decent figure. There isn't a major push through social media other than announcing tickets are on sale at the start of matchweek and a reminder on matchday. I suppose once the main stand is sold out, pushing sales for lower vantage points would be excessive.
519 at UCD v Drogheda
792 in a rain soaked Finn Park.

On LOITV it looked near the 3,500+ at Tolka with the usual 800+ away fans from Bohs.
Anyone there on the nite can confirm!
