There are approximately 3.7k seats, plus 300 standing capacity (definitely room for more, but not allowed, for some reason).
The 10% allocation is made available to away fans, but whatever hasn't been sold by match day is then released to general sale, so the match sells out at capacity.

So if the stand on the Lone Moor Road had been the full length as originally planned I take it then capacity could have been been about 4200-4300?

The capacity would have been about 6k. There are roughly 1k seats on the Lone Moor side stand, which is planned to be trebled. FYI, the plan was always that it would be done in stages, but funding has been delayed due to the Casement Park planning issues. The minister wouldn't sign off on the sport infrastructure funding as way to ensure the money for Casement remained unspent.

I think Bohs got 350 tickets and were all sold.

Derry have at last started selling terrace tickets which brings up the capacity of roughly 4k.

Tickets for Galway's visit to Tralee next Friday are on sale. Galway will be making the bus journey but it'll be the home team who'll be looking to park the bus.

As soon as the game was changed I was thinking 1k off the avg (3k) so yeah not bad - decent Derry crowd down, 400-450?

Last season Dundalk v Derry fixtures 3357 and 2856.

Thats Dundalk's lowest crowd of the season, certainly would have expected low 3k if it was a Friday night.

I'd go 350 for traveling support but still quite a good following for what is a long journey and of course considering the Sunday afternoon k/o.

Aiui, the previous Minister for Communities (incls. Sport), SF's Deirdre Hargey, claimed that the £36m ringfenced for Sub-regional stadia, from which DCFC were due an allocation, could not be released without the approval of the whole Executive.

Yet she also indicated that she could release the £62m ringfenced for Casement without such approval. (She later had to retract this claim, I think?). Anyhow, it is widely believed that the £36m for sub-regional money is being "held to ransom" while everyone is haggling over the money for Casement.

Meaning nothing is actually getting done.

    As per usual.
