I think Palace would be the best, they have an ambitious chairman & manager, they also held on to their main players. Southampton next as they still have the potential to come back up (but they did sell a lot of players). I think Norwick will struggle to come back up.

I think Palace is the best bet then followed by Norwich and then Southampton.

I think Wigan will be involved there somewhere.... Seems like CLinton is waiting for a premiership club.

well if wigan are intrested it would obviously be the best move, they really look like they are going to stay up this season in the EPL unlike the likes of Sunderland. There is another few weeks left so maybe they are intrested. But would be get first team football there ? he isnt really a great striker

This is pure speculation on my part but the longer it goes without Clinton committing to one of the Championshiip bigwigs the better as far as I'm concerned. There is a serious dearth of strikers available in the premiership at the minute and a large number of clubs are looking to strengthen that area.

Wigan, Portsmouth, West Ham & Charlton are the obvious ones but Blackburn have injury problems up front. Plus with Newcastle and Everton it may be a case of beggars not being choosers (very long shots i know). Point being that I think he may get a premiership move.

cracking opener from Clinton there, standing just inside the penalty area, shot over his shoulder to the far corner of the goal.
second goal was a nice glancing header in a crowded penalty area

Clint's having an absolute stormer. 2 cracking goals and a goalline clearance so far. Streets ahead of Best in this game, I really think he deserves a recall...

From the Guardian report it sounds like Westwood got an assist for Morrison's first goal. Good start to the season for him anyway.

Saw Clinton's 2 goals on the RTE SixOne news - two absolute crackers! I'd say we haven't seen the last of him if he can keep it up

you know i can't genuinely understand why best is getting called up ahead of clint. Considering best id the folan replacement, yet clint is of the same build as folan, and is a more proven goalscorer than best. Is it just best's physicallity?

2 great goals. Always liked how he played for us, was better then Robbie under Kerr.

Deserves a place but doesn't seem to be on the radar with Trap and co at all....

There is usually a big clamour for a player to be called in to the Ireland squad as soon as he has one good game but I actually do think in this case there is merit in it. He has scored some pretty important goals for us in the past and I still think he is better than Best, Keogh, Noel Hunt,Folan and possibly Long at the moment although I think Long has excellent potential. The 2 goals Morrison got today were brilliant and hopefully he will keep that sort of form going and force his way back
    Its really not that complicated!!!

Always been a big fan of Clint, gave 100% every time. Remember his goal away to the Swiss particularly well, was a great header.

The first goal in particular was something to see. The second one was a great header.
