i'm going up on the wednesday to see the family before hand, fly cork dubland with aer arrann, then dublin - city of derry airport with british airways.. havent checked it for a few days but it was about 230 return
Are there any City fans flying to Derry on the 19th ... What prices have you found and with who ??
Any info would be great !!
The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.

Whatever it was I am sure it was better than my plan to get out of this by pretending to be mad. I mean, who would have noticed another madman around here?
just checked it out, return to dublin from cork is € 119.40 with aer arrann, and return from dublin to derry is €117.55, a grand total of €236.95

That is well saucy .... almost make the drive a bit more appealing now.Originally Posted by Ruairi

Pure balls that there is no viable option to fly up. How much to charter an Aer Arann plane up ??

Aer Aran have just started a seat sale today.
An idea would be to fly Cork Belfast with them and get a train or bus to Derry.
As I say, we're just young & a bit nieve.

Be happy... I always wished for long bus trips, I enjoy it a lot, just taking the good old mp3 player, staring outside the window to the landscapes, and if you win it's a party bus drive back home ! That's actually the worst thing about supporting a Dublin club: I love long bus drives, but half of the teams are from the city or suburbs and the other half is maximum 4 hours away... Next time a Belfast team plays Cobh or Cork I'll try to pick a seat on the bus
Thats true, but try getting the Air Coach from Belfast to Dublin and then on to Cork, should work out at a whopping e14 one way!Originally Posted by thecorner
So Cork Belfast can be done in e65 return with one overnight and 2 full days up north and half the time on a bus. Not to bad at all.
