Reducing pixel size?

Hows is it done, what programme is needed(I have Adobe Photoshop album 2.0 & Photostudio 5)?

do you mean a reduction of resolution or actual dimensions of an image ?

Im open to correction, but isnt a pixel a unit of measurment (like an inch or cm). Do you mean increase resolution?

Dont know if you can do it in Photoshop album but go to Image > Image Size and change the resolution (300 is the standard) or the size of the image.
