Westport beat St. Peters 2-1
Ballyheane beat Trinty Cor (Dublin) 1-1 aet, won 3-2 on pens.
Any one at Westport match?did they deserve it?They could and should have been a few down before scoring and then the last kick of the game Peters missed a penalty.Westport beat St. Peters 2-1
Think that St Peters will wonder all year now as to how they snatched defeat from the jaws of victory.

Westport got a quick goal just after half time to level and then started to play ball. It was end to end stuff for a while with both teams having chances. Westport got a good goal but faded in the last ten and the keeper saved them a few times. It was seat of the pants stuff and then peters missed a penalty (keeper made an excellent save).
Westport looked tired but if you can beat quality opposition like that while playing badly then it should take a lot to beat us now.
Well done to the 'Heane for winning as well.

Did Carew beat Coachford ? If so What was the score?:
The boys from Limerick won 2-1. Sets up a cracker of a game on Sunday.Originally Posted by Le Grande Eric

i seem to remember him saying that last season when they beat bath rangers that no one will beat them with all the big guns gone out the earley rounds IMO he is full of ****
Yes just read it myself good luck to him in his side ability but i bet Ballymun are about to put this up in the changing room wall, just for the fun of itOriginally Posted by CousinSylDolan

I just dont see what he would have gained by making these comments. Everyone will be looking to play them now I feel....Originally Posted by swinfordfc

Pike were a fair price in Ladbrokes at 12/1 to win it from the start.. they are definately Limerick's strongest hope of winning the competition.. Carew Park were very lucky last week with two late goals and are playing with a very tight squad at the moment.. would fancy Castlebar to cause an upset on Sunday.Originally Posted by CousinSylDolan

Very true point CTFC, there's still at least 8 strong teams left in the competition that could win it:
-Clonmel Town
-Ballymun Utd
-Portmarnock
-Carrick Utd
-Westport Utd
-St Kevins Boys
-Carew Park
-Killester Utd

Agree with you there HurYa. Castlebar Celtic are a very good side, well organized, good at the back and have signed a few exceptional attacking players in the close season. It would not be an upset per se but Celtic have no real pedigree in this competition while Carew have been knocking on the door for the last couple of years.
Celtic only beat westport once this year, away 1-2. We threw it away. I would definitely say that they are well capable of beating any Junior side on their day.
