I hear they Shels players sell phones.![]()
A few Cork City FC players have been investing their money, a few have bought a pub and another two have started a clothing store. Good idea to be fair !!
Just wondering, are there other players with other clubs doing similar ??
The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.

I thought it was Lambert & Butler....?Originally Posted by pete

The one thing they do have, however, is plenty of time on their hands, and a degree of public popularity, which would help them attract financial backing from other people.

As I say, we're just young & a bit nieve.
Does anyone know if that is O'Brien's only source of income outside football or does he have another job.
The website and business is a good idea. A nice niche market there. However I can't imagine it being a huge money earner.
Where you start is not as important as where you finish!!!!
Ricky Galvin of Cork Celtic fame set up Ricky Galvin Tyres.
I beleive he runs some sort of fire and security shop and a couple of the longford players work for him but dont quote me on that its just what i was toldOriginally Posted by student
Can anyone tell me who the keeper is on the irish keepers homepage?
Harps striker Kevin McHugh has opened up his own sports shop recently in Donegal.
Fair play to the guy .... looks good !!Originally Posted by Dodge

Our goalkeeping coach Gary Matthews sells goalkeeping equipment too, so they have a nice little number going. Digger does fire and security alarms as his own business. Graham Gartland used to work for him at one point. None of the current lads do though as far as I know.
Upwards to the vanguard where the pressure is too high.
Pat Fenlon is a contract cleaner isnt he - cleans jacks and stuff...
