Gk: Alan Mannus.
In the conversation now for Rovers best keeper of all time and just had one of his best seasons. Sheppard and Maher might be the future but Big Al is the one.
CBs: Pico, Redmond, Connolly
Pico could be switched for Hoare who played more games and had his best season for us so far BUT Pico came back in and showed he's a level or two above anything else we have. Grace also had a good season.
Redmond looks like an unbelievable pick up for Pats and Connolly made an impact wherever he played. Both no brainers.
Right wing back: Finn
Tricky one. Finn, Boyce, Dummigan, Macari all in the conversation. Giving it to Finn who had a real captains season. I'd expect to hear I'm wrong on this one but he was top class, especially when we weren't.
Left wing back: Andy Lyons.
Centre mid: Dummigan, O'Reilly and.....this is a tough one as well but I'll go with O'Neill. Patching, McEleney, Byrne all possibly worth a place. Deegan if he played us every week..Maybe Forrester? O'Neill is more consistent for me though.
Forwards: Gaffney and Keena.
The leagues best player this year and the leagues best goalscorer this year.
