UCD and O'Neills go back way further than that. Here's Jason Sherlock in 1995 in an O'Neill's UCD kit for example -

Rumour in Longford is that we are in talks with Puma to make the kit for next season which will be our 100 year anniversary! Have Puma ever entered the Irish market before either north or south?

Cliftonville are with Puma at the moment. Can’t think of many LOI as having been with them - not to say there’s hasn’t been a club with them. Definitely no Premier division club has in the last 15 or so years anyways.

EDIT: Galway were with them a few years ago in the FD

Galway United had Puma a couple of years ago - you may remember the yellow away jersey in particular.

They were nice jerseys but I think the advantage with O'Neills is you can design bespoke jerseys rather than an off-the-shelf design.

Though the Longford rumour may be untrue, Puma have done Cliftonville's kits for years. Poor enough gear in my opinion. They've also had a cut at others such as Ballymena.
