The gist of it with Cannon is that he's no good out wide and he can struggle as a lone striker. However as a second striker alongside someone else he's very effective. Which actually potentially suits how we set up. Realistically he's maybe not competing with Parrott and Ferguson to be our number 9, he's competing with Ogbene and Armstrong, among others, to partner one of them.
Of course, you could also just start both of Parrott and Ferguson, but I like the idea of holding Ferguson in reserve to bring on in the second half.
