POTY - Aaron Bolger
YPOTY - Aaron Bolger .... Coffey close in 2nd for YPOTY.
Fairly straightforward decision for Rovers.
Gaffney is a little bit ahead of Mannus for POTY imop. Other hoops would disagree maybe but Gaffney carried us at times and has 15 goals in all competitions which is good going considering the work he does outside the box.
Lyons is our YPOTY for me. Farrugia is up there after coming back really strong from injury but at 23 might be too old to count and Lyons did it all year regardless.
So who stood out for your clubs folks?
21 leagues and 25 cups.

Nobody!
Irish by birth ,Harps by the grace of god.
Joe Redmond got Pats Player of the Year and Adam O'Reilly got Young Player. Both well deserved winners
Paaatrick's Agletic
For Wexford, candidates for POTY would include Jack Doherty, who missed a good chunk of the season through injury, Luka Lovic and Joe Manley. But I'll give it to Aaron Dobbs who led the line very well and ended up leading scorer.
For YPOTY, Harry Groome (twenty) won Players' Player of the Year this season. Other good prospects are Eoin Farrell, Len O'Sullivan, Thomas Considine and Adam Wells who are all twenty or younger. But Alex Moody, also twenty, got us out of a hole in goal this year in his first season in the LOI, and I'll give him my YPOTY.
Treaty POTY - would have to be Enda Curran for me. 21 goals was superb.
YPOTY - Conroy maybe, had 19 appearances this season, decent for a 19-year old.
POTY - Shane Elworthy for me, 8/10 minimum every week. Dylan Barnett and Aaron Robinson in the running too. Popular choice seems to be Luke Dennison but those OG's early in season rule him out for me.
YPOTY - Maybe Dean McMenamy or Ben Lynch

Nobody
POTY: Stephen Walsh, by a country mile. I'd hate to think where we would be if we didn't have Walshy this year.
YPOTY: Some would probably say Alex Murphy, but his form was average this year really. Ed McCarthy is probably the best shout for that.
roddy collins you're a flanker you're a flanker!
Probably quite a few to choose from for Derry in what has been a very good season for us so it is testament to this player that I would give him both - Brian Maher. Probably the only player would look at our squad and think he really would be nigh on impossible to replace if he was to leave.
Drogheda - Darragh Markey. Great little player.
Conor Tourish for Harps IMO

They were already picked by Waterford supporters club.
Phoenix Patterson is senior player of the year and Niall O'Keeffe is young player. Both of them are similar ages.
Keena won player of the year (no contest really) and Mata won young player.
As Irishmen we dilute our sense of nation by depending on the English to bring us our balls
POTY: Nathan Shepperd - super GK,Cat like reflexes and find of the year. Really nice guy to boot.
YPOTY: Ryan O'Kane - Busted his ass for Dundalk when called upon. Proper good player AND a local!

Shane Farrell has been outstanding for Shels in a number of different positions this year. He has come on incredibly this season under Duff and his attitude is brilliant so Shels POTY for me. Gavin Molloy my YPOTY
There's genuinely only two or three players in the Harps squad who could come out of this season having said they had anywhere near a decent year. Ethan Boyle was consistent throughout the season and deserving of player of the year awards he's got so far.
Conor Tourish is a good defender and bad footballer, Elie N'Zeyi was impressive in parts but injury put an abrupt end to his season. Eric McWoods is fast and tricky but little end product, Ryan Connolly and Barry McNamee are both still excellent footballers but tend to go missing for large parts of the season. Rob Slevin started the season well and died out about two thirds of the way into the season. That's about it.
By all accounts, Sunday evening will be Barry McNamees last LOI game as well.
https://kesslereffect.bandcamp.com/album/kepler - New music. It's not that bad.
