A variation on Tetris e-mailed to me at the office called Textris ... you use letters to form words along the lines of the Tetris principle. Loved that game. Downloaded it on to a floppy and played it at home on my old laptop for a while.

I'm not a gamer so this is probably going to be a tad odd, but Crush Roller. They had one in "The Hall" in Garryvoe, and I had the top score.

Bubble Bobble is a great game - I was the best person in the entire of UCD at that game... They used to reset the scores every Monday, and by Tuesday, I'd have the top five scores and no-one else would break in for the rest of the week...!

Had (or have) an Amstrad 6128 - some great games on that. Grand Prix Simulator, Sabateur 2, R-Type, Sigma 7. Had an Amstrad 6128 emulator on the old computer with a load of the games, but that didn't work so well when we got a faster computer. Must have a look around for a new one.

Sensible Soccer is a quality game!

It is indeed, a quality game in it's day. Also one of the versions of sensible soccer had the proper Shels team from the 92/93 (I think, around then anyway) season.

I heard that Sensible Software were going to release a new version for mobile phones, did this actually happen?
All goals, yellow and red cards tweeted in real time on mastodon, BlueSky and facebook

Not that I know of, if it did I'll be first in line to get it. I don't see why they can't, I have the latest Fifa on the mobile phone and it's quite similar, you could definitely get a quality version of SS on there.

That's right - they had all the teams who'd qualified for Europe in it. I downloaded the game off the internet there ages ago - had problems with it again after getting the new computer though. Must see if I can get it working and see what gems of names are saved on it!

Whatever it was I am sure it was better than my plan to get out of this by pretending to be mad. I mean, who would have noticed another madman around here?
