Yep and Sligo lost a player to Celtic…I forgot his name now… Well they lost 3-0 to a side that didn’t even make Europe themselves in the LOI for 2023 so I wouldn’t be so confident if I was you.

Again you seem to be biased to one side in this argument especially when you ignore the fact that the same issues apply for Sligo.
That player Sligo Rovers lost to Celtic was Johnny Kenny.
Gary Cronin is he the right man to manage Longford Town?

See that Gavin Peers has being appointed as a coach with us. Thought that he had long retired but was playing with Warrenpoint till recently.

I'm not 100% sure but I think you can only have four at any given time.

I know the lad hasn’t exactly set the world alight since he left Sligo but he is still very young. He knows the league and has proven he can score in it, so it’s a good acquisition for Rovers for the full season.

Hardly any football since he left us at a very crucial stage in his development, hard to see him featuring for Shams this year so I expect to see him twist the knife again by signing for Harps next season.

If he were half as good as his auld fella was for Harps, I'd take him in a heartbeat!

That's quite the gap between playing for the Champions and signing for 1st division Harps ??.
A cynic would suggest your a tad bitter.

He looks a decent prospect and if Rovers have as many games this season as last he'll get plenty of opportunities to shine.
Shamrock Rovers- Where trophies are won and envy is scarce

Not half the player or quarter the man.

Another player who only saw the bright lights of Celtic and thought he would set the SP league on fire. These lads must realise celtic have 5 or 6 Johnny Kennys behind 2 or 3 players who are really battling for places. They are small fish in a big pond. He would have been better going to Hearts, Aberdeen or an English league one club and playing regular football. Now he's back in the LOI and he should do OK as a big fish in a little pond, but if celtic have sickened his happiness he may not perform.

Only a youngfella, they do all sorts of stupid things. He could end up back at Sligo eventually.

I hope not for his sake. He'd have to go even further backwards for that to happen.

Stephen Henderson has made two more signings for us. Stephen Meaney from Athlone Town and Darragh Lynch from Bray Wanderers. According to our website its our 15th signing so far!
Gary Cronin is he the right man to manage Longford Town?

Treaty United re-sign Willie Armshaw, while Scott Kirkland and Josh Quinlivan move up from the 19s.
