Robinson a huge loss, very worrying sign of what may be to come in terms of departures. Seems to be plenty of money washing around the division

Brendan Clarke signs for Galway......
Irish by birth ,Harps by the grace of god.
Adam O'Reilly "is out of contract this summer and North End will hold talks over his future next week, with the player and his representatives. The PNE boss was asked about O'Reilly recently and explained that he wants the Irishman to continue playing football". " 'Adam has gone to St Pat's and had a fantastic time, playing really well and got rave reviews so fair play to him for doing that. It would have been easy to just sit around, but that's what you want when young lads go out on loan, you want them to play and perform.' "(Ryan Lowe, PNE manager, quoted on Lancs Live, 23 November).
id be pretty surprised if lowe saw him as a real option. if i was o'reilly id look to get out of their and get another loi season under his belt. another impressive season and he'd have plenty of options come 2024.
Surely Shels are going to look to bring in another keeper, otherwise that looks like quite a strange move. I'd have had Clarkey back at Pats to be honest.
Lowe's quotes in the full article kind of suggest that O'Reilly won't figure in first team plans so given his age I'd be surprised if he managed to get a new deal there. He brings incredible energy but can be a bit questionable in possession so I can't see him making it at Championship level. He seemed to love it at Pats so hopefully that gives us more of a leg up to make it permanent if he does end up being available, although even if it happened I still think we could do with another midfielder in.
yeh defo i think hes a good loi player, maybe with a bit of luck on his part he could work in scotland but hed need more to his game on the ball. conor kearns is poor IMO , shels fans better hope duff has something better up his sleeve.
Longford must have no money at all, not like Wexford are big payers.
Clarke was pretty much flawless for Shels in 2021 apart from his first howler in the last game of the season against UCD which ironically Evan Caffrey scored. Duff dropped Clarke in the first quarter of 2022 in favour of an inexperienced Swansea loanee and Clarke was brought back and he immediately helped steady the backline. During the 2nd half of the season definitely a couple more errors and some poor positioning crept in from Clarke Duff clearly did not have complete confidence in him maybe he is thinking of age not sure myself if Kearns will be the solution or if they plan to sign another keeper to be number 1
The Leinster Senior League needs a strong Bohemians
Probably operating off a similar budget, I don't know. They had a decent enough squad last year. But James Keddy who was our assistant manager last year has gone there as manager and has now had a couple of weeks of a head start on Henderson in terms of talking to players. I'm sure we'll put together a squad that'll be in and around the play offs. That's about all we can really aim for anyway.
Upwards to the vanguard where the pressure is too high.
Wouldn't be surprised. We were training in Leixlip at one stage but not sure whether we'll still be there next season. It'll be within shouting distance of Dublin anyway, either way.

David McMillan departs Dundalk….
Irish by birth ,Harps by the grace of god.
Thought McMillan looked very off the pace whenever he got a game at Dundalk.
The fact that they let him go makes it unlikely another big team will sign him i would have thought.
Drogs maybe if he lives up there ?
Dan McDonell reporting Derry are in pole position to sign Colm Whelan from UCD..
Burt to Rovers looks to be done. Happy with that.
21 leagues and 25 cups.
