Entry to French end for the game?

Whats the position if we get our hands on tickets from the french fa? Are we entitled to enter to ground or could we be stopped? I've a pal in paris and he's applied for 4. It says that there's only 900 left. If 500 or so get returned to the FAI will they be redistributed or what? If so will they make the french end smaller?

In theory yes you could be stopped. If so I reckon the french end will be 80-90% empty. In reality you will have no problem.

Away tickets are normally sold in blocks by the visiting associations thus facilitating returns and the possibility of some home supporters however I assume the Irish in France will snap up the remaining tickets particularly if they stick to the ten per person rule.

    Fair enough,
I wasn't afraid I'd be stuck with the tickets, thats not why i didn't apply for 10. Its just that i only know this guy through a mate and I don't think the guy has a whole pile of money. I'll get on to him though and see what i can do.

Not yet. My mate in Paris dropped in the application personally at the FFF office on Tuesday.

My understanding is that people were told some weeks ago to pay up (see my post from a couple of weeks back).

It has been first come first served since then.
