do you have a link? If I knew where exactly it was I'd offer a more substantial opinion. Neither town is my cup of tea. Depends on what your mate is looking for?
A mate of mine is looking at buying a cottage, on an acre, between Edgewortstown & Granard €155,000. Seems cheap(by Dublin standards). Any advice on the area?

Reporter: "Gordan, can we have a quick word?"
Strachan:"Velocity"
It was on myhome.ie but its missing now , whats Edgeworthstown like?
The property seems so cheap , compared to Dublin. as a matter of interest what are wages in Longford like compared to Dublin?
Depends where you work and what you do to be honest. They're wages in general are probably lower but the cost of living is cheaper down here.
