You should have seen the crowd they had in dublin last thursday - unbelievable support numberswise
I have never in my life gone to a Sligo game and I was wondering do they really have a big support? As the thread on which club you support shows they have the second highest amount of users on Foot.ie! So is it just that they have a large internet fanbase or do they really have one of the largest fanbases in the country??

DAN CONNOR HATES CITY, HE HATES LANGERS
Would they have more support than any Premier sides(excluding U.C.D)?
I was at a match in the Showgrounds earlier this season and was extremely impressed with the level of support for the team and the standard of the ground itself. Easily the best stadium and group of fans in the First Division.
Hope to see Sligo in the Premier soon. they would be a fine addition to the league
Where you start is not as important as where you finish!!!!
ATM, they would get bigger crowds than Longford, UCD, Waterford, Harps and about level with Pats AFAIK.Originally Posted by Dyl10

Life without Rovers, it makes no sense...it's a heartache...nothing but a fools game. S.R.F.C.

. We get lot of support down here, we actually took around 400 to Mons. We get larger attendances than Pats now aswell, and we'd be getting the same as Bray if it wer'nt for the away fans. Fans in the First Division dont travel.
Wonder if many are making the trip North on Saturday, they are playing us for Pat McShane's testimonial.
