City appeal O'Donovan ban
Cork City have appealed the extra suspension handed to Roy O'Donovan following his sending off against Drogheda United.
CorkCityFC.ie confirms that manager Damien Richardson was puzzled by the decision to hand O'Donovan an extra game ban on top of the automatic one game ban. The main factor being that O'Donovan was sent off after receiving two yellow cards and didn't pick up a straight red card usually associated with violent conduct or other serious incidents.
