Killarney Celtic advance to the last 16 of the FAI Junior Cup, as a Stephen McCarthy winner sees them overcome Tipp's Peake Villa.
Hi. Im heading to Kerry for 3 months in the Summer. Is there an over 35s league down there and if so is it winter or summer ??
Thanks
No league as such now, but they do run off a cup competition - nowadays, the KDL tend to complete the league season first, and then over the summer months, they hold the various cup tournaments, including the over-35s.

What ever happened to Dingle Bay Rovers? Were Premier A winners not that long ago.
That was at a time when they were pretty much the only soccer team in Corca Dhuibhne, whereas now, as can be seen, Castlegregory are making great progress, indeed owning their own grounds as of this season.
On the pitch, the major cause for celebration is Killarney Celtic progressing to the FAI Junior Cup QFs, winning 3-0 away to Tallaght (I believe they need to reach the semis to be included in the Senior Cup draw).

Killarney Celtic will fancy their chances of making the FAI Junior Cup semis, even after losing Stephen McCarthy's services, after receiving a home draw against Ballynanty. Should they progress, an away tie against Newmarket, Crumlin or Shanahargan awaits.
Where’s Stephen gone?
The very last Kerry FC signing on Monday.
