    Farewell Dermot Keely

It's a pity that Dermot Keely has left not only Shels but the League. He has brought a new level of professionalism to the League on the pitch. Anyone who saw Shels play at their best this season can't have helped but be bowled over at the quality football they played. It is the first time I have seen an League of Ireland team look convincingly like a continental team.

I strongly suggest Bobby Browne as his replacement.

For continental read "boring boring arsenal"! Good riddance, the league is better off with whinging gits like keely, no matter how good a manager he is. Hopefully we wont have to read his tripe in the sun anymore either.

Does this mean that we won't have to listen to Pat Dolan's self glorified sh**e in the Star?

How is it he always talks about St. Pat's players being worthy of the National Team and rarely any other LOI player? ( All of which is bull anyway because none of them are good enough, U21 yes, full squad no -these ludicrous claims do the image of the League no good ).

He claimed after the match on Sunday that most Eircom League fans would like to see them crowned champions...what planet is this guy from? I can't imagine Derry, Rovers or Bray fans agreeing -or any other club bar themselves.

    AB$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Good riddance to the *****, the Longford reject...... Most people I've spoken to reckon that Pats should be the champions (including myself) - it seems that it's only the internet saddo brigade that believe in the 'rules are rules' Ollie/ Keely Mantra.......

    Besides Anyone But $heliban......

btw Why do you think Derry would support ye over Pats the way youse have treated them????
If you attack me with stupidity, I'll be forced to defend myself with sarcasm.

    Thumbs down

Keely has most definitely being the b9iggest moaner in the eL over the last few seaons although our own Liam Murphy seems to trying to out do him.

$hel$ have consistently snapped up the best eL players only to inflict us with dour football. Shels have consistently underachived with the players at their disposal.

Only good memory of shels under keely was when they beat city at the cross 2-1 on live tv & really played city off the park.

Had the misfortune to attend tolka for shels v brondby this season & in contrast to their display v Rosenborg shels were an embarishment to the league as they hacked their way to a defeat.

Keely hasn't managed shels for much this season & their results sicne he returned have hardly been inspiring. Notice the dour display against a pitiful cork city at the cross in february.
