    That team basically coached themselves.

    Yup
    Showing up the brighter ones.
I think that's harsh on Filippo, if you speak to any of the players involved in that squad they really enjoyed his training methods and he seemed a good man manager as well. He's working towards his pro license now and I think he could go on to be a good manager

The man almost relegated us ffs!
Even the bloody, stupid yanks copped that situation on after a period of blindly sticking by him.

A decent guy no doubt..... and we'll leave it there.

Did you not finish 3rd in his first season? Not sure how he got you nearly relegated the next season, officially, he was not in charge at the start of it and was gone within the first couple of months. There was nearly the whole season left to climb the table. A bit harsh.

Could argue Vinny almost relegated ye, some of your worst performances that season came under Vinny (losing to 9 man longford). Filiipo outlined at the live show he did how limited his involvement was once the yanks decided to install keegan as a puppet manager.

Filippo gave a version of events that showed him in the best possible light? Ah well, nothing else to see here then.

It's not a full-time role, so whoever has it would need another job, but I understand why you mightn't want your manager having a second role.

Happy he's staying us, brings experience to what's a young enough management team we have. He does seem to enjoy living in Derry too.

Had forgotten that this is his second spell as a coach with Derry City. When was his first spell? I cant place him!
Gary Cronin is he the right man to manage Longford Town?

Keith Long was full time so I would assume the next manager will be too.

Ian Ryan looks to be the one. Rejected for the UCD job when he applied for it post Collie ONeill.......and now going to Bohs. On the interview panel that rejected him for the UCD job was one Andy Myler, who subsequently was appointed to the position. How FAIesque is that manoeuvre. Anyway, he will be brilliant at Bohs, I thibk he's the real deal. Bohs getting a good one

Ryan appears to be a talented young coach always a likable solid pro when he played for Shels, big leap from Wexford to Bohs he will have to hit the ground running at Dalymount or they will be on his back
The Leinster Senior League needs a strong Bohemians

Not sure what to make of this. Yes, Wexford have performed well this year, but there's a feeling of bit of a punt about this.
The expectation at Wexford is low, not the same as we have at Dalymount. Not sure if Croly will stay on, although I felt that our team seemed poorly coached in comparison to many of their opponents, so that might be a blessing.

That decision could go either way bohtastic I think.
Ryan got shels promoted and promptly fired. Could be bohs are seeing the relative managerial novices around the league and thinking that's the way to go.
He will need a good couple of seasons to get you into Europe, I feel so if the beekeeping, beard stroker's on the terrace can be patient it might work iut

Ryan has achieved even less than Ian Morris who I assume you're confusing him with, PC. I think it's a big gamble for Bohs but there aren't too many options out there really.

He's done a fair job with Wexford and brought some life back to the place but I'd certainly have questions over his ability to set up a defence from the few times I saw them this Season.
