Ah, good news!
Maybe Bohs have someone else lined up which was why they were stalling.
Upwards to the vanguard where the pressure is too high.
Maybe he took a look at the squad, realised that the transfer budget was limited, and thought complete poison chalice ? Maybe he asked for but wasn't granted a career break from the teaching job ? Or maybe (hopefully) he's on his way back to UCD when they finally do what they should have done months ago and sack Myler, who picked up yet another red card last night for abusing officials. His time is up at UCD I hear, his temper has got him into a few scrapes too many.
One way or the other Ryan has a teaching job where he would most likely be taking a career break so any whiff of messing around by Bohs he would be totally right to pull out of that crap. Maybe someone more high profile has come to Bohs' attention at a very late stage this week or Bohs played the put his name out in the media game on Ryan to test what the reaction would be from the fanbase
The Leinster Senior League needs a strong Bohemians
Doesn't look great for the people making the decisions but most of the fanbase didn't want either Reynolds or Ryan going by social media anyway so we'll see who's next.
what a mare from bohs.
I think someone else the club preferred has come back to the table or else someone new has come into the picture. Ryan, Reynolds, Perth and Dunne were names hardly filling me with joy or enthusiasm. The RodFather II here we come. With the sequel being an even bigger hit than the first installment.
I have a feeling that Bohs think the job is a lot more attractive than it actually is.
Apart from the derby game with Rovers, there is little between then and Shels at the moment in stature, and on and off the field they are far behind Pats in Dublin and Derry nationally, and even further behind Rovers. Dundalk might be in Europe next year, and will be a year further into O'Donnells reign agter statting from nearly scratch this year.
Add to it that there is a huge dearth of inexperienced LOI managers, I can see why they feel they are unable to find a new manager.
I?d say they?ll be looking outside Ireland now. There doesn?t seem to be high enough level candidates available or interested.
No words necessary:

Not a good look for McDonnell that
So according to McDonnell this weekend:
Ryan OUT
Ryan IN/OUT???
Doesn't sound convincing anyway for a upcoming coach who is also a teacher with a pensioned public sector job which he had probably worked very hard for a decade or so with qualifications to be hanging over

Far too many maybes, possibly, I think and I have a feeling posts about this. You have to remember the season is almost over and Bohs will finish midish table. So there is no need to make a hasty decision.
Bohs were presumably stalling until Steve Bruce was available.
Declan Devine is the latest contender in the frame:

Would have been better keeping Long.
