Unless they've had their heads stuck under the bonnets of their Volvos all year they'll know who we are after the Malmo incident and it will be hard for us to surprise them.

They are possibly the toughest team we could have drawn...

Away on the 11th, home 25th.

Yeah they look like a tough outfit. Imbrahim Ba plays for them these days (didn't he play a trial game V us for Bolton a few years back?) and so does Mathia Johnson who just joined them from Norwich. We'll give it a go anyway I suppose

Theyre making a mockery of ye already on their forum. Theyre reading whats being written on the cork city forum, translating it, and having a good old laugh at ye.

Exactly. They clearly havent learned from the Malmö matches. I read on their (Djurgården) forum that even Malmö fans are saying that Djurgården will hammer ye.

Luckily, the home leg is the day before i fly out to London. Phew!

That is tough, but remember what we were all saying prior to Malmo last year-"Sure it'll be day out",etc.

    Keep the faith, lads.

That works for me too. Either way. What do yuo think would suit the team better?

    Home first, or Away first?

Dont let them. They'll have to play outside of Stockholm it that's the case. There's only one stadium in Stockholm that meets UEFA's rules.

Agreed. I think we're better off playing away first. We don't have to change if we don't want to right?

It would be interesting to see the club's take on this. Football-wise I think the away leg first is to our advantage. If, however, the club think we might get a pasting they might gamble on a bigger home gate if we play at home first. I hope (and believe) that CCFC have grown beyond this.
don't worry, they couldn't hit an elephant at this dis......

I would prefer to play home first and away second. For the simple reason that you know what you have to do in the second leg and if it means you have to score, then any goal you score is an away goal which psychologically can work in your favour.

"Djurgården have a nice little team.

GK - Pa Dembo Tourray (formerly at Vålerenga IF Norway)
    RB - Matias Concha (Malmö)
FB - Toni Kuivasto (Finnish international next to Sami Hyypia)
    FB - Markus Johannesson (captain)
LB - Fredrik Stenman (Swedish U21 international, Feyernoord wants him)

RM - Daniel Sjölund (Finnish international, ex Liverpool and West ham)
CM - Johan Arneng (Swedish international)
CM - Abgar Barsom (ex Heereveen in holland)
CM - Kari Arnason (islandic international from Víkingur Reykjavik FC)
LF - Thobias Hysén (Rangers want him, Juventus were interested after he scored a beauty against them)

S - Sören Larsen (Danish international, Schalke 04 placed a bid of 1.3 mil euros just this week, Djurgården wants 2.5)"

Lads the only player that to "fear" is Sören Larsen - hes the best player in Sweden and a class above the rest of Djurgårdens team. The goalie is dodgy enough and the back four is average. Midfield - Sjölund never got a look in at Liverpool so take no notice of that - he'd struggle to a get a game with Cobh. Hysén is useful and can play.

Djurgården sold their best player at the time to Wigan last year (Johansson). the lad hasnt have a game with Wigan yet. Says a lot about Djurgårdens quality.

According to Djurgårdens website Cork have said a clear no to changing the matches around.

Theyre paniking now that match is going to be played outside Stockholm.

    Good on ye!

With a bit of luck he'll be sold by the time we play them.
