On last nights performance no one in their right mind woud sign George. Especially if they are looking for someone to get stuck in and actually make a tackle. He was gutless. Apart from George we seemed too casual in too many positions, we had no width, Liam & Roy were poor and should have been replaced. Greg and Joe seemed to be trying to do the same job and were getting in each others way and Dan Murray was bambi on ice all over again.

An what galls me the most is that Ekranas were awful, they truly were a poor side and we should have buried them. If Kearney had scored that chance early in the 2nd half we'd have won comfortably but as it was we could be still there and we wouldn't be after scoring.
Agree totally with patsh's 2 points that its good to get a bad game out of the way in one of the cups and we are through.
Hopefully Rico can use last nights performance to gee up the lads for Sunday cos theres a few of them need a wake up call.

I think that's one of the things we need to take from this.
It's certain that we're going to lose some games during a season and there are times where defeat is less significant than others.
Hopefully we've got that bad game out of us so that we can learn from it and move on.
We have the UEFA Cup draw to look forward to today.

As someone said earlier, we're through. So be happy overall, and have faith that Rico will give the lads the kick up the hole they need. That is his job.

I'm excited now, nothing better than the sweet smell of a European run

It was a strange kind of night alright with a terrible atmosphere in the ground. It's a pity the Shed crowd were split up. Makes you wonder what can be done when the redevelopment starts over the winter. As everyone else is saying good to go through though and get a bad game out of the system.

Crap game, crap atmosphere but we're through. Thats about all that can be said. George was brutal- worst player on the pitch IMO. I've never been a fan of the 4-5-1 formation, and I don't think it works well for us. Fenn should have been on at half time

Worst performance of the season. Still good to have worst game & still into next round.

George needs to wake up & realise hes attracted scouts based on this years performances & not last years show boating.
