Mahon likely to involve Padraif Moran. Pic:Sportsifle
It's a noon kick-off at the Brandywell for Derry and Cork as their once promising seasons come to a conclusion - and there's no hope of a League triumph for either side.
However both Kevin Mahon and Liam Murphy are keen to finish the campaign with victory in the Maiden City.
"That's what I want, but we have plenty of injuries," conceded Mahon. Sean Hargan is on crutches, Darren Kelly has a groin injury, Darren McCaul has a broken wrist and Floyd Gilmour is still out.
Padraig Moran hasn't played for two months but Mahon is likely to involve him at some stage because of his personnel problems. Some of his under-21s were in action yesterday against Shels and Mahon is hoping to draft some of them into the squad as well.
Cork are at full strength except for Alan Carey, who is out with ankle trouble, as they look to build on last week's fine victory over Monaghan United.
hence the "A bit late I know but still" at the top! No-one else bothered, so I just did it. Btw, the match was on-going when I posted it, i think thats cos I changed the time on my profile to german time.
