Dundalk need to win and put the pressure on Rovers.
I suspect it will be a weak enough Rovers travelling with Europe in mind especially after the wins over Pats and Bohs.
Bohs v Derry is a big game for Derry after finally getting a win at the weekend and they need to push on if they are to challenge.

Galway v Waterford is a massive game in the first division , Waterford on 8 wins in a row can with a win in Galway make themselves the main challenge to Cork.

I don't think Rovers will play a weak team against Harps on Friday. The mantra coming from Rovers before the bohs game was all about getting 9 points from the next 3 games (bohs pats & Harps). Could do with seeing Jack Byrne on the pitch, and Burkey will probably start.

Stronger team out tonight then I expected from rovers, but with no jack, Burke or Danny hard to see where the goals are coming from

No Hoban or Bradley for Dundalk tonight, which gives us a chance I guess. Scoreless at the break with heavy rain not helping things. Happy enough with that; would be happier if Harps were losing of course.

Its a tough watch in Oriel!! If Dundalk score I might just bail there and then and watch the rest in the pub. Players out or not, we should be beating UCD especially at home. We seem to have gotten in to this beating the better sides but not making it count against the so called weaker ones,

About the same time as Dundalk took the lead as well, so looks like it's on to next week for both of us...

UCD right full Gallagher caught yet again by a ball to back post for Dundalk opener. When he's not giving away penalties with stupid pushes he's asleep at the back post. We have really just turned into a team of spoilers, ability to ruin any game as a contest. Harps losing, so is its as you were.

Mad game in Richmond. We started very bright but then faded before getting the goal before half time. The second half was a disaster until we scored again and I thought Drogheda would grab an equaliser. On a side note that Doherty is an awful moaner, he never stopped at the fourth official all game.

We were quite good for a while, should have been more than 1 up and then the rain made the whole thing a shambles quality wise to the point I'd have been delighted with 1-0 nevermind what we came out with. Perfect time for Tunde to come on, cause a ruckus and see things out for us.

Its tiresome to see such constant antics in the technical areas. Usually attempts at deflection when things not going to plan, obviously its the refs fault, which in fairness in LoI there may be a valid case occasionally. What is the point of getting in the 4th officials ear anyway, he's hardly going to overrule the ref even if he had the authority.

I thought we were very good in the first half, goal took a long time to arrive, but we were well on top. Second half was a different story. Drogheda got about us more, and for a lot of the half looked like they would equalise. Two late goals put a gloss on it for us, so all’s well that ends well. Slightly flattering score line, but hey ho.
Out for a spell, got neglected, lay on the bench unselected.

Absolutely pointless giving the fourth official grief. He is often the scapegoat for a bad performance. Like you said he has no power to overrule the refs decisions. All they can do is inform the ref if either bench say’s something out of order.

Like a broken record saying this but we concede some really stupid goals. Even chipping in with OGs to aid the cause.

You could have had Benzema up there tonight and it wouldn’t have mattered,20/30 yard gap from the midfield to the striker he hasn’t a hope,Rovers are a good side but we sat far too deep……
