He started off praising the physicality of the match, and how great it was to see a bit of bite, but went 360 on it after the first heavy tackle. Calling it illegal over and over!
Agreed on whelan houghton and Kelly, terrible Co comms. Kenny cunningham is usually OK

Fair enough, the chance cleared off the line was a good effort, and Ryan's save was decent, but the one that gently looped onto the crossbar was of little danger. Aaron Greene missed a very scoreable chance in 1st half too. Without Jack Byrne and Graham Burke they look pretty ordinary. I have to say again though that the presentation looked great in TV. Full stadium, huge noise and colour, just a very flat game IMHO.

Heard afterwards it's a possible broken ankle. He landed awkwardly very awkwardly.
Think he went back with Pats afterwards though rather than going to Letterkenny hospital.
https://kesslereffect.bandcamp.com/album/kepler - New music. It's not that bad.

Oh wait we won, no need for distractions.
Can 008 survive another couple of defeats ?
He will probably get a few games to see if his new signings work out I suppose.
You really do have a hard on for Long.

Plenty were saying the same in Stephen O’Donnells first year in charge.

Not sure I’d blame the substitutions for throwing the win away. The one defensive sub he made was enforced, the others were taking the flair players off for what could be viewed as more solid players to see out the win. The type of change managers have been making forever. Bad defending caused both goals, and the players should have done better.
Out for a spell, got neglected, lay on the bench unselected.

He hadn’t a times as he was a rookie manager learning on the job. We can only hope the same learning curve applies to the current manager and things will improve. It’s safe to assume he is on a two year deal and we be given time by Mr K. I’m hoping for Europe this year so he will have the funds for a decent squad next year. We are a very frustrating inconsistent team this season , at times we are brilliant and the next week absolutely chronic. The bones of a decent side are there but we need more in midfield and up front.

To be honest i love the fact that he has a few years left on his contract.
As long as your board are more interested in all the Woke causes than football he is safe enough.
I just remember the abuse Bradser used to get on here when he started and i think Long gets away with murder.
    Its an entertaining sideshow

Bradley has always had and always will have the budget advantage over Long. To compare the two makes no sense and is a complete waste of time.

In fairness to Long he brought in about a million euro in prize money last year and a cup final appearance. That has to come with some cache for a stormy patch.

Bradley started with a very average budget and developed a team capable of challenging Dundalk who had a far bigger budget.
Budget is just another excuse for the Long Apologists. He is in sixth , is his budget less than Shels and Drogs who are within a couple of points of him

Gary Cronin is he the right man to manage Longford Town?

Not a like for like comparison between Bradley and Long. Rovers have and will continue to be ahead of us in terms of budgets and therefore expectations at the club. There is a reason you hoover up a lot of players and it ain’t for the love of the hoops.

Ollie Horgan is the longest serving manager in the league in his ninth season at Harps currently.

In fairness to Bradser he has earned his budget with Transfers and wins over the last few years.
Thats why we can sign players , Long needs to start winning things and stop whinging about his budget.
Stephen Kenny won the league first time out with a lower budget (as did Bradley first time he won the league) 008 gets a free pass because the Bohs board dont see football as a huge priority

Who from the current bohs team is playing for the love of bohs ger?

As for "hoover up"....we signed one player this season. Bohs fans said he was no loss. Same with the last one who crossed the divide. I'm sure we are paying them more but they are also doing better and winning things. Players generally want that. We also had more than a few years where players were unfortunately playing purely for the love of the hoops and not winning anything or being paid.....

I think Longs doing well enough but he gets too much credit for the job he's done in my book. Every podcast, every week someone says "Keith Long doesn't get enough credit". If you mention it every week....He loses players every year just like most LoI teams. That's football.

Except when his goals scored rank is under threat.
