Should have won more comfortably but I'll take 1 nil all day in the derby.

The fayre at Tolka wasn't much better, really poor standard and worse tempo by both sides, thought it was a terrible match to watch, 0-0 summed it up.

But........if you had asked me at 7.44pm last Fri if I would have taken 4 points by this time tonight, damn sure I would, still in second and looking fairly good for an auto euro spot.

I think in literally every moment tonight in the Shels final third all of our players took the hardest/worst option available, quite a few times players were open and they smash it straight into a Dundalk defender's feet

Saying all that I'm satisfied to get point tonight, Dundalk are a really average 2nd place team

It was a nice change watching us and not being on the back foot at all in a match.

We'd a few chances to get the win, will have to look at it back but I've no idea how Foley didn't bury his chance from a few yards out. We'd a header from a corner that went straight at the keeper unfortunately.

Markey and Lyons both made a difference when they come on. Markey's creativity will be big for us when he gets back fully fit.

Was surprised by how bad Sligo were, they didn't seem to have any intention of trying to play football. Not sure I've ever seen them approach a game like that against us.

Nothing average in any team getting their 9th clean sheet and who Shels have yet to beat in 3 games.

That said, it was a really poor game, very little quality by both sides.

At 2-0, we all said it was game over. So did the couple hundred that exited the ground with ten minutes or more left.

We were rubbish for 85 minutes, and then just threw everything at Pats.

    Mad night.

Well we’d a few chances as well but it was still an horrific game

Making four substitutions at the one time was a master stroke from Clancy , did similar against UCD and almost cost us there

Comfortable 1 0 for Waterford v Bray. First half even enough. Heavy rain and dark skies from end of first half on and problem with floodlights delayed start of 2nd half. Louis Britton touched home a cross from Roland Idowu for 1 0. Waterford should have scored more but were denied by last ditch defending and a tight offside call to rule out Patterson's goal.

We are a team who just can’t take the chances we create and still brittle in defence. When did Flores become a left back?

I think he might be, looking back at twitter I do see he pulled up in the warmup before the Drogheda match on May 13th and hasn't been involved since, nothing on our recent match previews listing him as injured though but our teams news tends to be strangely selective

Average team is my assessment from the 3 games I've seen against Dundalk, it's a poor league that you's are in 2nd spot not to take anything away from the great job SOD has done to stable the ship

Don’t think he has a clue tbh. Can’t see the whole thing going anywhere. It will be another half a season of malaise next year until we eventually move on.

I'm still waiting on the statement from the rovers board condemning the behaviour of the bohemians fans for throwing flares on the pitch.
Oh wait we won, no need for distractions.
Can 008 survive another couple of defeats ?
He will probably get a few games to see if his new signings work out I suppose.
