I was wondering why offside wasn't called earlier.

After seeing the replay, I've no idea how the linesman missed it.

Armenia have upped a gear after halftime though

What a goal! V unlucky for Armenia was a mile offside. Stevens giving the ball away was awful. Egan getting dragged in centrally was awful. Armenia finish sublime. Let off for Ireland

I’d like to see Knight or Browne for Hendrick, I think his lack of game time is hurting him now and he’s tired. Obafemi for Robinson would be the other change I’d make.

Big let off. Armenia coming into it more now. They must be starting to believe they can win this one.

Hopefully that’s Armenia’s dangerous spell done with now. They were bound to have something. The water break is probably and ideal time for 2 or 3 changes to get fresh energy into the attack and midfield.

    Obafemi for Parrott?

I'd have taken Robinson off. Interesting one

I’d have done the same, but to be fair it was a close enough call. Knight for Robinson or Hendrick would be next move, I think he could work in both positions. Maybe Browne for Hendrick and Knight for Robinson.

20 minutes to go - I think we need more than one change at this stage.

It's very reminiscent of Luxembourg away, even down to the disallowed goal.

But we'd just taken the lead by this stage in that one. We're not really looking like it here

Robinson has lived off his non competitive hat trick achievement for far too long now. Needs to come off

If Armenia were any good we'd be 2 0 down by now.

Collins is very average. Ogbene has improved with the offside runs i.e. not getting caught offside evrrytime he's played through , he is consistently improving his game but he's still well off a proper striker. Finishing is very poor. We've been very sloppy and lackadaisical with possession, perhaps end of season rustiness and the heat playing a factor.

All in all same as it's been for years. Struggle to beat the lower ranked teams who sit deep, play well against the big nations and get a draw or 1 goal loss here and there. The way Kenny has us set up with his allwayson Plan A is we need an actual playmaker who can get on the ball and make stuff happen - that's not parrot and we don't have that player so it's not effective.

Ouch, what a goal. Obafemi lost it very cheaply. Response will be interesting.

Great strike. Poor from Hendrick. Not surprising really. You’d fancy Bazunu to make that save

By giving the ball away cheaply, not closing him down, the ball going in off the post, and it not being 40 yards

Big difference second half has been Hendrick is wrecked. He was good first half and has been nowhere second half. Hoping to see a major response now. Game is still there to be won.

I thought something like that might happen.

For context, Armenia are barely in the world's top 100 nations and they have lost by fours, fives, sixes and nines during the past season.

Just the kind of goal you’d expect us to concede, just like against Azerbaijan…
