With Galway sitting back, Wexford were able to run at the Galway defence a bit more in the second half but still didn’t look like cracking open a very resolute Galway defence. Subs for Wexford as this half went on were Conor Davis, Jordon Tallon, Kevin McEvoy, Len O'Sullivan and Evan Farrell. The concession of an odd peno by Wexford which was converted by Galway made it 4-0 and the final whistle was a welcome relief, in truth. Wexford need to learn to defend much better than they did tonight, particularly at set-pieces. Best for Wexford were Jack Doherty, Conor Crowley and Adam Wells. About 300 at the game.
