Any information if Waterford are able to increase the capacity for this home semi-final, I'm only asking as you would presume they would have to apply/arrange things from a H & S point view with the local authorities!

Seen on social media that they'd looked into temporary seating but it was going to cost too much.

So much money being lost to clubs all around the league by the very limited capacity of certain stadiums.

And the so called health and safety that seems to differ massively depending on what sport you're regulating

A significant number of terrace tickets have gone on sale, assume it?ll be a barrier behind both goals on the track. Similarly how it was when there use to be just one stand in the RSC. I?ve heard seating capacity is just over 3k and the full capacity including standing is in the 5/5.1k region.

The record attendance at the RSC of over 8000 was for the 1997 FAI Cup semi final also v Shelbourne when there was only 1 real stand there. 5000 or so seems to be correct now with I presume health and safety regulations being stricter now.

I suppose if the club have looked into the cost of increasing the capacity and feel it is too expensive they are right to go their way.

Get to the final and they won't have that problem as they can focus on promoting the day and attract as a big a following as possible up to the Aviva!

One of the new members of the administration working with ourselves and Fleetwood. Stated on a private profile in the fans forum/game on Facebook that they looked into temp seating and the cost would have outweighed the income therefore would have cost the club thousands.

Of course it's too small, less than 10% of capacity, Shels sent an email earlier today to season ticket holders explaining the ticketing situation and it was a very carefully worded scathing of Waterford, FAI also attempted to get Waterford to release more tickets without any success

This shouldn't be happening in this day and age, needs to be something clearly in the FAI Cup participation rules specifying away ticket percentage allocation if you are hosting a cup semi-final
The Leinster Senior League needs a strong Bohemians

Is it? There are 3k seats, so that's more than 10%. Is there a confirmed standing capacity yet?

Might be making assumptions, but the gate is split 40/20/40, so it should be fairly obvious the numbers of tickets sold, and Shels will have the numbers to back up any nonsense from Waterford.

Shels got around 15% of the seating capacity, Blues sold out the rest of the seating tickets within days. Club has permission for terracing for the game. Which are due to go on sale this week.

I?m assuming there?s no away terrace tickets available due to a potential security risk - this is my opinion so don?t take it as fact.

Presumably, if there's space for terrace numbers, then there's space for an extra 200 or so Shels fans to stand next to the away area? There's loads of standing room just off to the right of the seated area at the away area.

Nobody does carefully worded scathing quite like Shels

I see there appears to be a new suspension rule in the FAI cup this year going by this week's suspensions list

    https://www.sseairtricityleague.ie/n...ns-cup/id-4486

Both Will Patching and Wassim Aouachria are suspended for their respective cup semi finals because they’ve received 2 yellow cards in the cup this season so far. That’s an absolutely farcical rule.

Also, a single yellow accumulated is wiped after the quarter-final stage, presumably to stop players missing the final. All seems stupid, especially since it doesn't match the league rules.

I know it's a cup semi-final, and Limerick did well against UCD in the last round, but expecting a moderately comfortable win on Sunday afternoon for us.

The other one is much harder to call. Waterford are on a good run, banging the goals in, but Shels has been looking dangerous in their past few games and have found scoring form too. If I was to put a bet on, it'd be Shels - draw no result.
Have you ever won the treble?

Looked like Derry were going to steamroller them, but they hung in there. Hadn?t enough to offer a threat though. God I hate watching matches on those godawful pitches. Would love FIFA to ban them.
Out for a spell, got neglected, lay on the bench unselected.

Derry had a load of terrible misses, they should have been out of sight ages ago.
The pitch is awful but Fenlon was talking on LOI Central recently and he said Astro is ok if there?s a proper underground sprinkler system to make sure the pitch is completely soaked. Apparently Bodo Glimt and other Scandi teams use them but they need to be saturated to play properly.
