Shels go two up in Donegal, so Maynooth remain the best non-league prospect for a upset.
Just tuned into the last 5 mins of the wexford dundalk game.. Why do dundalk persist with the suicidal high line at the back??? Any junior team would cop onto thst and just hit runners over the top. O'Donnells stock will drop rapidly if they lose this one.

Galway and Dundalk both level and Shels 2 up in Letterkenny, that should be that anyway…

Nope - late winner for the Students it seems?
3-2 up; 2 to go
Makes the playoffs interesting again!
Will Caulfield even be there by then.
Would there be extra-time or a replay in Wexford?
It's gone to extra time
Shels win 4 nil, only watched the first half and they could have been 2 or 3 up by HT tbf,far too much for the Letterkenny men…

Seen some updates on Twitter but it sounded like Sheppard has really kept Dundalk in it.
Overall a terrible display by Dundalk, possibly lucky to win in ET, but into QF, all that counts (for now).
#DundalkFC - First Irish club to win an away game in Europe (1963), first Irish club to win points in a group stage in Europe (2016).
Great win for the students, gifted the winner by Galway and into the QF, hopefully get Waterford or Treaty there. And relegation not looking quite as assured now, the play offs may hold no fear for the lads if and when we leapfrog a manky Finn Harps outfit
https://kesslereffect.bandcamp.com/album/kepler - New music. It's not that bad.
1 nil Treaty over the (other) Students at HT in a sunny John Hyland Park. Even game, Treaty scored off a defensive error. Maynooth have made more chances.
Connolly tweeted that he thought it was harsh, aye.
Quite a gap in quality between the two Citys. Cork's back line was ok though, and Doona looked decent enough when he came on. Derry should have won by more, story of the season, but truth be told, we never really got out of second gear.
As said earlier in the thread, Cork have work to do to bring themselves up to PD standard for next year.
3-0 in the end for Treaty against Maynooth. Missed a penalty early in the second half (looked a dive to win it in fairness) and Maynooth had a good few chances in the period after, but when Treaty turned in a second off a well-worked move down the right it was pretty much game over. The third was decent, Devitt went by three players to slam in from close range. Good performance overall, though Treaty are very reliant on ball over the top. Maybe 200 or so at it? John Hyland Park a nice little ground.
41-0 to LOI clubs in the 9 games against their non league opponents in the cup this season, huge gap in quality….

Yeah seen that tweet alright. People under it suggesting he should've said it to the ref, but why would he? Deny his team an advantage? Ref wouldn't have changed his mind regardless.
Yeah the gap in quality was clear to see for sure. Work to do is right, main objective now is to get ourselves promoted as quickly as possible now. 3 big games against the rest of the top 4 now so hopefully no slip ups.
