Yeah QF draw should be early next week as QF's are scheduled very soon for weekend starting Friday 16th Sept, last year the QF draw was on the Tuesday following the previous round
The Leinster Senior League needs a strong Bohemians

I'm more confident about getting a result Sunday now that tonight's match is dead.
Bradley certainly seems to have one eye on Sunday with the team he’s picked tonight. Probably sensible. Pats and Sligo both paid the price after European games by going out of the cup. No doubt he’s conscious of that.
Out for a spell, got neglected, lay on the bench unselected.

To that end, should we want both Rovers/Dundalk to win this weekend, thereby increasing the chances of fourth place in the league getting Europe? Or do want Drogheda/Wexford to win, thereby making it, on paper, easier to win the cup?
The sensible option is probably for Rovers/Dundalk wins, but none of us actually want that. Interesting wee thought experiment. Same situation is in play for Dundalk fans too.

Looking forward to tomorrow night, and seeing what Cork are like, and if they're far off PD standard. They've been a bit inconsistent of late, but with the FD basically won, they may as well go for it against us.
City fans are likely torn about tomorrow's game. If we win then our potential division decider (its unlikely but not improbable) away to Galway would be moved from September 16th and we could have a big gap without games. Though a Galway win over UCD has the same effect.
Take the fixture thing out and we're very much looking at it as a free hit against a team we shouldn't beat but who have been somewhat shaky themselves.

Tomorrow might suit us. We've struggled in recent weeks to break down teams sitting deep against us, Derry should be the favourites and approach the game as such so we might get some more opportunities.
At the other end of the field we have been very good all year, with Harrington attracting interest from abroad, so we should be able to keep it tight, but Derrys attack is going to be a very different proposition to the First Division.
Looking forward to the trip, the first division doesn't offer many appealing away games outside of Galway this year.

Galway v UCD or Wexford v Dundalk.
Havent watched a stream from either before but i seem to remember Galway stream production being criticised somewhere, any advice out there ?

I watched Galway v Drogs feed a couple of years ago and though it was quite good. Also, the stadium looks much better - which makes a difference.

Galway have been using pixellot camera for their streams this year and it's dreadful. Not sure if that changes with the cup, but Wexford have been putting together a better stream from the bits I've seen.

Thanks Nigel the word "Pixellot" has just cost Galway €7 of my hard earned money.
Pretty poor that a club with Premier league aspirations like Galway are using Pixellot

Get through tonight ok and then hope for a nice home draw in the next round. You get the feeling the cup could open up for someone outside the Top 4.

Not too sure what the capacity was set at for Dry Arch Park, but Bonagee United v Shelbourne has sold out tonight. Should be a decent game.

It's about 1k, apparently. Great job selling it out.

Yeah, figured it would be near enough that. I had suggested somewhere about 700-800. They've had to erect temporary media facilities and gantry for this, so that'll take up a bit of space too. Shels fans will need their coats with them anyway. Looks like rain this evening in Donegal.

Not liking this new camera position now the Connaught Stand is getting demolished. It is very low and not wide enough.

Derry showing us the difference in quality between the Premier and First Division. Pity about the penalty as apart from that there hasn't been many clear cut chances. We haven't got forward much bit we have shown a bit of spark at times. More of the same to start the second half, see if we can get to 60mins without conceding and try to be a bit braver and who knows.

Keating sent off for us in what looks to be a ridiculous decision from the ref.

Caulfield possibly under pressure; 2-1 UCD with half an hour to go, as their league form goes south too

    Dundalk losing in Wexford.

If Rovers are too busy to win the Cup, things could really be opening up for a different final
