yeah im getting my tickets monday morning.
Can anybody say for certain if the shed will be sealed off for the Ekranas game? If it is to be closed, regulars should get their tickets pronto because I can not see this fixture playing to anything less than a full house.

good point, tis all the one, although the derrynane is a bit cramped for the whole shed to be relocating, perhaps its just the clique?Originally Posted by thecorner
think ill head for the saint anns anyway, id rather enjoy watching the match from a good vantage point & singing along from there than the awful view from the derrynane. i really cant see how anyone would choose to sit there.

Shed definitely closed as will for all UEFA CUP games. 5500 capacity.
Derrynane has terrible view. Be better to have defacto standing section in the corner St Annes section next to the Derrynane side.
Recycling / reviving this thread.
Just back from the Horseshoe where the word is that the last ticket for the Djurgarden game will almost certainly be sold some time tomorrow Wednesday.
If you are a regular who can't buy your tickets before the night of the game, better start calling your buddies . . .

There is a handy full left in Cashmans on Maylor Street ..... they are going fast !!

Knew I made the right choice getting mine after the Shels game![]()
As I say, we're just young & a bit nieve.
I'm disappointed tickets not sold out yet. Amazing we get 6000+ for Shels game & still can't sell out 5000 or so Uefa Cup tickets. Are people not will to pay €20?

Put it this way, 2 adults and a kid = €50. Pricy night out.

How many people like you and your mate still pay €40 a skull to see two amateur teams play in Croke Park? I shelled out the €50 for me and the kids to go see City play Djurgandens IF. On my income that hurt a bit, and that is well before paying for hot dogs, programme, and "something from the club shop".Originally Posted by BOF
But you know what? It is great value for a family night out, and while I am at it, both teams are full time pros, playing in a European competition. It is a privelege for us as soccer fans, IMO, to be able to see this game at that accessible price.

Yeah I agree completely FPB........i shelled out the same as u. I do it coz i want to but I dont think its particularly good value compared to shells last week for instance (which was €31). And I think other ppl might feel the same. In relation to Croke park I have no idea about pricing there and I care less. Just talkin about my local club here.Originally Posted by Fair_play_boy

Im sure you understand though with the Shed being closed that prices had to be upped.Originally Posted by BOF
Anyway, you can see Shels every year, but you only get so many European nights.

Yeah i understand that allright. What I dont understand is this: capacity is reduced from about 7000 to 5000, thats about 33%Originally Posted by Troy.McClure

And remember we the fans have been referred to as customers by BL. So maybe Eddie Hobbs should get involved.
As regards europe Djurgarden is hardly Inter Milan now is it??

We got 7000-8000 people against Nijmegen & Nantes last year with adults paying €20. Club couldn't print enough tickets for Nantes.
IF we were to progress then I believe ticket prices will remain at €20 for rest of Uefa Cup campaign.
Lennox OUT
Hobbs IN

You have to remember as well that the club have to fork out for flights for the team as well. I think you'll find that Eddie Hobbs would think it makes financial sense to up the prices for this game. Cork City FC is a business, not a friggin charity. Don't be stingy, it's still cheaper than forking out €300-€500 to watch a Euro game accross the water.Originally Posted by BOF
